Dear All, I Need Guidance As I Was Wrongly Absconded And Half Of My Career Is Affected And No Company Is Showing Interest In Hiring Me For Someone's Silly Mistake. I Am Not A Person Who Produce Fake Documents To Get A Job And Whenever I Attend Any Interview I Am Not Afraid To Tell HR That I Was Absconded For No Reason. And When I Say The Truth I Am Asked To Leave And Not Allowed To Attend Interview Further. The Reason For Absconding Is Very Silly I Was On Leave And Started Receiving Notices That I Need To Report To The Work Or My Services Will Be Terminated I Have Contacted My Team Lead And Informed Him So Many Times Why This Is Happening When I Am On Approved Leave. He Always Responded Do Not Worry I Will Take Care Of This And Finally I Received A Termination Letter And My Services Are Over. And When I Reported To The HR Team They Said It Is Clear You Are Absconded This Is How The System Works And They Are Not Interested In Discussing Furthermore Do The Exit Formalities And Leave The Office. But I Fought Back I Sent Emails To Higher Authorities Somehow The CEO Himself Involved And Took It Seriously And Had A Conference With HR Team,Myself, And My Team Lead. Everything Went Well And It Was The Order Of The CEO To Reverse The Termination And He Asked Me To Collect The Releiving From The Company. Now Since It Was Clear That The Problem Was With The Management They Said They Cannot Give Me Releiving But Can Give Service Certificate And Even To Get That I Need To Pay Amount Of Rs 6500 But The Fact Is That Payroll Department Showed That It Is The Company Who Need To Pay Rs 13000 Change To Me If They Start The Exit Formalities. Since It Was Affecting My Career I Was Ready To Do Anything I Was Ready To Sacrifice 13000 And Was Ready To Pay 6500 At That Time I Already Got An Offer From HSBC I Begged My HR Manager Sir Please Do The Needful As I Am Ready To Do Whatever You Want But Make Sure It Is Not Affecting My Career But The Background Check From HSBC Failed And I Lost All My Hope And Decided To Remove This Expereience From My Resume. Some How I Got The Job In Sutherland Global Services Located At Vizag And They Never Did Background Check But After A Year Sutherland Closed It Services At Vizag And As A Result I Had To Resign. Now My Problem Is If I Sacrifice The One Year Of Expereience From Absconding Company I Am Asking To Explain The Reason For One Year Gap. If I Am Mentioning In That Resume I Am Facing Two Problems 1. I Have To Explain The Reason For Absconding And Getting Rejected 2. I Worked For Both The Company For 28 Months 14 Months Each. Now If Somehow I Am Proceed Further For Operations Round They Are Raising Stability Issue As I Worked For 2 Companies For Very Short Period Of Time That Is 14 Months Each. So As Per Their Prespective I Am Not Stable. Today I Am In A Situation Where I Am Still Hunting Job And Getting Rejected At First Place For Absconding And If Somehow I Clear All Rounds I Am Being Considered As Not Stable. At First Place Itself I Never Had Intention Of Leaving My First Company I Do Not Want To Mention The Name Of That Company Or Else Employees Will Loose Their Faith But That Company Is Still In The Top 10 Lists And Branded MNC In The World. Today I Am Looking For Job The More I Tell Truth More I Am Getting Rejecting And The Gap Is Incereasing Now Total Gap Is 3 Years 9 Months And It Is Getting More And More Difficult For Me To Explain My Resume And Such Large Gap To Any HR. Please Respected HR's Help Me To Overcome This Situation My Future My Career Is In Dark For Someone's Silly Mistake. Looking @ your situation from another perspective, I am not sure HOW your resume looks......IF it's similar or same as this posting is, then the problem MAY be lying elsewhere.
Coming to your issue/problem.....to the best extent I could understand.....I am not sure HOW you consider yourself to be 'absconding' when you got a PROPER Relieving Letter after the intervention of your CEO. Pl confirm the EXACT wordings used in the Relieving/Experience Letter.
Going by my understanding, I DON'T think you need to highlight in every Interview that you absconded.
Also, pl mention the Dates....giving periods in months/years doesn't help anyone to give accurate suggestions.
Like the Saying goes: "Every problem has a Solution.....we only need to look enough".
Pl confirm the details so that the members can give actionable suggestions.
