Sure Soumya,
Dear first you need to know what is HR and their function and how they work...as you are doing HR you need to complete your study first and need to be there as already you are on this site. Try to learn and read the threads and go thru the conversation/discussion on HR and their functions like Salary/Wages Calculation, Bonus, ESIC, EPF, Labor Law, Recruitment, and so on..
Make regular search and learn thru internet. This will help you out to know about HR and their function....
Second face is to know the Recruitment and Training function ....you dont have to be so quick as learning process cant be gain on quickness they want instant and proper attention and concentration...
Do it step by step ok....one day you'll find yourself that you have gain more knowledge and know how to achieve your aim...
Best of Luck

Hmm nice to meet you actually i can understand your situation because i was there at your stage few years ago...
The solution is, if you have a strong knowledge of Human Resource Management and their function and familiar with this field and their important factors, if you know the work, you can apply for the same being a fresher. This will give a start atleast and after some experience you can go further..
Second option, first you need to ask yourself first whether you really wanna go with HR or have strong interest in this field and why you wanna join HR while you know that you'll not get the salary as you are now getting with your current position.
You wanna HR bcz of what/why?

Since then I am not getting any opportunity in HR. I am not interested to work as recruiter. I want to work as HR Generalist.
Can anybody help me how can I start my career in HR Generalist.
