Hi Heera Edwin,
The query you have posted is of very generic nature.
Training challenges are present in every field - be it manufacturing, design, marketing, software or whatever you name.
However some of them are common:
1) Lack of Management will
2) Paucity of funds
3) Disinterested participants
4) Absence of training need analysis
5) Poor effectiveness
6) Assigning the wrong persons for training etc

Thank you for taking the time out to reply to me, Raghunathan, yes I do understand that each industry has its own set of training challenges. For instance organizing classroom training for the employees of a media industry would be practically impossible given that they are made up of several departments with each department working at different times of the day and most employees not present onsite. And then the Pharma industry has its employees on field as well. The ONG Industry would have its employees located in remote locations where there is no internet connectivity...
Thank you for the points you have mentioned as well as for your suggestion to try in Cite HR archives. I am also looking forward to other members contributions from different sectors to give me a first-hand experience of their training woes.

Hi All,
As mentioned by Mr. Raghunathan these are comman resion for in adequate training in the all industries aslo due to production load, over time loss, man hrs loss, many of the high managment people does not cooperate in training. More ever education level of the worker does not allow to accept the particular training. The main thought behind this is training is non productive events and does not required.
Which has to be changed.

Thank you Raghav,
Very valid points indeed. I never thought about the number of man hours lost (although that was so obvious). High management people not cooperating with training is another new one for me.
Could you please explain to me as to what you mean when you say that "educational level of the worker does not allow to accept a particular training". I am interested to know more about this.
I am keen to know more about the training challenges people face in various industries. What may seem as an insignificant problem may be a big eye-opener to me and others reading this post, so please share your thoughts.
