Dear team, I have served 7 days notice period but the previous employer said you have to serve a complete 1-month notice period as I was there on a probation period of 3 month so now they sent me a legal notice to compensate 21000 gross salary but I have not given the previous employer details to with current employer so is there any issue or how can I respond to previous employer as I can't serve 1 month notice period and pay 21000 gross salary. So is there impact will be on my career as in PF also they have marked exit so if my current employer may ask about the legal notice or not as I have not given previous employer details to my current employer so pls help on this asap...as they are harrassing over call or mentally torture you have to pay 21000 or serve 1 month notice period so pls help

Hi,

what was your separation clause with your previous employer during probation period. Nothing to worry. The maximum they can send you legal notices or if they come to know about your current employer they will communicate to them that you are under dual employment etc.

Please try to resolve after checking your previous appointment order.

But sir i have left the previous employer and joined at next employer so is there any issue if they have marked exit in my pf and my current employer will ask about the previous employer notice as i have not given the previous employer reference

Since your previous employer has marked exit already before you joined the new employer, there is no issue of PF overlap. Though you have not informed your current employer of your previous stint, from your PF UID it will be possible for them to know your employment history. As the previous employment was for a very limited period, the importance it will have remains to be seen. There is nothing much the previous employer can do against you.
