I joined a consultancy under contract basis I worked for client company for an year. Client was happy with my performance and offered a permanent position and I accepted the offer. I formally submitted my resignation and my consultancy gave LWD based on NOC from client. At the end of my notice period I got another company offer and I wish to join that company instead of client. After serving my notice period with consultancy I received relieving letter and experience letter. I informed both my client and consultancy that I won't be joining the client. They got paranoid and withdraw my relieving and experience letter after sending it to me, extended my notice period, once again included me in their payrol. In this case I legally sent notice to my consultancy asking them to withdraw the recent orders and I am ready to handover the assests which client offered me. Is this right move? What kind of legal action can the consultancy make in this regard?
