if an employee joined a company, is the sick leave or casual leave will applicable w.e.f when he/she joined the company?

Formulate the Sick Leave policy as below.
1. The company does not expect its employees to apply for a SL when in actual effect he/she may carrying out some personal/domestic work.
2. Employees can avail of a min of 1 day and max 3 days SL without any medical certificate.
3. Employees can avail more than 3 days after producing medical certificate from the Registered medical Practitioner. In case of more than 6 days, the employee has to take fitness certificate from company's authoried medical officer.
4. SL can not be availed as suffix or prefix of any other leave except in the event of an employee is suffering from prolonged illness and has exhausted his/her SL quota.
5. weekly offs/holidays which falls in bet'n SL shall be counted as part of SL.
