One of my employee covered under ESI and his wife is pregnant now (for second baby). Now my question is what are all the benefits available for a staff wife's maternity.

Dear Kumujegan,
Insured person's(I.P.) wife can avail medical benefit from ESI hospitals/dispensaries. I.P. can also claim transport allowance if his residence is far away to ESI Hospital at the time of delivery. To get medical benefit it is necessary that her name is included in ESI card. Except medical facility, she is not entitled for any cash benefits.
