Dear Sir,
Please let me your advice in following situation.
I have resigned from the company X on 16th of March. In the resignation letter I had clearly mentioned that I will serve company for three months notice period. But management came to me saying that they will release me early if I want, without notice pay.
After I left from company on 31st March, company is saying that, I will need to pay three months salary to them.
I have about seventy five thousand rupees ( sal + LTA) left with the company, and company is not ready to pay me that. Insted they want another 15 thousand from me to complete 3 months notice pay salary.
How can I get my money back.
I am awaiting your reply.
Thanks,
Bhushan

Now a days this is a common practice. Problem is at your end that you haven’t have anything in written when they commit you to leave before without notice period :icon7: .
Go to your management talk politely regarding there previous commitment if they are not agree then ask them that you will complete your notice period then leave.
They will surely awake.

Dear Bhushan,
What I understood that you have a Notice period of three months. You have submitted your resignation. On receipt of your resignation, your mgt informed you that they would relieve you, if you want early releiving.
I am sure you must have mentioned in your resignation that you would like to get releived on particular day ( date ). In such seario, you have to decide whether you would like to get relieved early. Mgt can not releive you ealry and ask for the Notice pay. Incase they relieve you early than the day mentioned in your resignation, your mgt is bound to pay Notice pay salary to you.
Pl check your relieving letter issued to you. What clause they have mentioned in your letter.
with best wishes
