Dear Sir,
I have resigned from my job after serving the Company for 15 months. I have received a release letter after completion of all the formalities as per terms of employment.
Now, the Company is refusing the pay the BONUS to me saying that your Salary exceeds 10000/- pm. hence, you are not eligible for Bonus.
However, Company has paid Bonus to such employees in the form of Ex-Gratia. Please note that One month Bonus form part of my CTC structure and duly signed by the CEO of the Company.
Can I claim for my bonus.

ex-gratio is an annual component which is willfully given by an organisation as far as bonus is there they minumum is 8.33% n max bein 20% and its not compulsary for company's to give its an employer's wish , however you can definately tak to the hr person n know the reason as to when others are been given y not u, i hope this help

workman under I.D.Act 1947.If yes,then the act of the company
amounts to favouritism,partiality regardless of merit,which is an
unfair labour practice.Since the company is paying ex.gratia to others and excluding you it is engaging in unfair labour practice.In Maharashtra
you can seek redressal under M.R.T.U. andP.U.L.P.Act 1971 and in
other places under I.D.Act 1947.
