Is it true that the supply of HR is more than its demand and this can be one of the reason why many HR people are unemployed?
Only big companies have a big team of HR but small companies have 1 HR or in some companies no HR at all.
In such a scenario should one go for HR.
Other functions like marketing, accounts, finance, customer etc have a large scope.
Kindly explain Is HR a safe and secured profession?

Dear Mandy,

To be frank the Individuals who are talented get the job across the specialization,

But For HR the Entry stage have become crucial (In Recent year's) if the people's working in HR get's minimum of 2+ year's of Experience they shine in their career they need to choose the path as Generalist if they are interested to change over to any industry or now a days many Areas are there for HR like Recruitment, Payroll Analyst, Generalist, Compliance Executive, Counselling, IR, so on.....

And as asked by you Only MNC's will not have HR Team's now a days Industries are growing....if you take any small scale industry there will be 50-100 Employees working at least to do generalist profile HR is Required if at all for at least statutory Related/Contractual Employees the company is in essential of HR. So ultimately the Industry is growing and many concepts of HR are arising so the need for HR is growing year by year.. Essentially you cannot run the company without Employee so till the day this end's there is definitely a need for HR...If you are passionate about HR there are many HR veteran's over here you may seek help from them so you will guided then and there and wishing you a very best for your Bright future.....
