Dear Suri Babu
This is a good question which is relevant to those innumerable MBAs garduated not from instutes of national and international repute like IIMs but from some good institutes and yet want to be competetive on par with their privileged brothers in terms of performance. It is my personal opinion that:
1) such MBAs should try to get into Consulting firms who undertake various HR projects like talent mangement, performance evaluation, competency mapping or compensation designing etc. to understand as to the concepts work in practice.
2) They can simultaneously pursue a certification progaramme in HR
3)The exposure to consulting and the qualification in certification programme will help an ordinary MBA to develop a competetive skill set and knowledge to enable him to gain entry into a corporate of repute and to acquit himself well in his job with confidence and gait of seasoned professional.

Dear Sai Kumar
I totally agree with you. The actual concept behind my write up, is that most of the MBA Colleges are not catering to the actual needs of the Management professionals, but for the sake of issue of degrees only they are maintaining the Colleges. More number of students, either from educationally & economically backward/coming from rural areas, pursuing MBAs without having practical knowledge and professional feed back. Such of the students have to work hard for getting professional experience to become an effective Management professional, by utilizing the opportunities in the Society at large, and involvement in the activities of Industries and Institutions.
