Dear HR Guru's,

I would like to know what sought of training can be given to them apart from the general topics like Communication skills, Telephone Etiquettes, First Aid, etc,... Hi
How about trying to expand their world & making full use of thier creativity.
The work of the Unskilled or semi skilled workers normally make it very monotonous & hence the quality of thier work suffrs somewhere along the line. Expose them to the use of their creativity to make the difference in daily chores.
Simultaneously the HR should support them & their endeavours with ample rewards & recognition frequently.

A basic question for Fredric, Why do you want to train the target group? If you want you can do a simple training need identification involving the target group as well as their supervisors/ internal/ external customers. Nothing like a TNA to build interest, instill purposefulness & accountability about the process.
That apart I believe to unleash creative engagement with such target groups training in creative participation through small groups can be useful. Also, concepts such as quality circle perhaps work best when contextualised. In the attached posters, have tried to build an Indian (Hindi) interpretation of the concept of 5 S. Excuse my Hindi spelling errors though.
All the best & a disclaimer: am no HR Guru

Dera Tryfreddy,
There are very many topics on which skilled and unskilled employees require training. A few titles are noted below.
Are you motivated?
Beware of your postures- for your health and your look.
Attitude under attack.
Personal and industrial hygiene for you.
Benefits of Practicing Good Housekeeping.
Unsafe acts and unsafe conditions only cause accidents.
Safety at work.
Little Ergonomics you need.
Safety in Manual Material handling.
Electrical safety
Safety from Slip, trip and falls.
These are quite essential and their effectiveness proven.
