Is Training & Development part of HR. I see in IT organisations, Training is termed as Learning and it functions as a separate department. Earlier on Theories we have read Training as part of HR. In Manufacturing organisations, we have found these Trainings and Career Development to be under HR.
Can we have comments from You professionals??

Hi,
In some companies Training is part of HR function and can be called Learning and Development or corporate training department. In some companies, like insurance companies training is a seperate entity called Distribution Training, or Learning and Development matric, where in training is conducted not only for employees of the company, but for the channel partners and Insurance advisors
