Hi, One of my friends was working as an admin officer with a company, and that company was shut down due to technical reasons... It may reopen after few months. But he is unsure. Now he is looking for a new job..He had 7 months experience letter of that company. So shut down of the company will affect his experience?? Please share your valuable advice.

You had given the reason as technical, and your friend worked in admin, he knows even very well what is the exact reason for it and he speak about that in his personal interview that will not affect his future. Share the location we can guide him.

Hi
As an administrative officer, he must have handled very different and specific activities during shut down process either legally or otherwise which will add to his value definetly. He can impress the interviwer with his vivid expereince. Best of luck to him
In no way it will affect his career adversly.

Dear prajakta
In no way it will affect his cv,because shut down of a company is not at all related with Admin officer,it is a policy issue,he can make his point clear at interview abt this.
thanks

As an Admn. Officer he knew all the reasons for the shutdown of the company. Why he is then unsure of the future of the company. He must think in this way or the other. Either the company will reopen or will not resume business. If after handling this delicate position he is not sure of the outcome, well his credentials are doubtful. Is he not apt to reach a reasonable judgment? Anyhow he has very little experience that will not effect his CV at all. He has only to explain that the company shut down and he is out in the lob market all again.

LOL,
Heavens no.
I will evaluate to ensure he is not responsible for the shut down.
On a more serious note however, any person leaving a company that is shut down always faces a negative bias when going for another job. Which is why people leave before the company shuts down. I have seen it happen many times. Its more of a concern when HR finds that they cant do a reference check
