I would like to add and suggest for a direct sales person to firstly prepare a job description properly in a short and clean manner with all the basic requirements needed. Do specify particular skills and experience required. When shortlisting from portals, take references from them. Apart from job sites, check for other references through social networking sites, friends, previous office colleagues, and others. Analyze the criteria properly. Look forward to having a friendly rapport with shortlisted candidate profiles, convincing ability, clear communication, and highlighting the best benefits they will get from the particular job and roles, along with salary benefits. I hope some of these points will be helpful for you to take this up. Keep going with a good motivational spirit, as recruitment is one of the challenging and head-hunting processes.
