Hi everyone,
I am Aparna-the Co founder of Indian HR Network & the Editor of Campus Today Magazine.
CAMPUS TODAY MAGAZINE aims at catering to the inquisitiveness about several aspects of education that arise in the minds of our youngsters in areas like choosing the right college, right courses to join , expectations from them as they leap across the educational arena so on and so forth.
In a rush to fill up the ever depleting number of seats in Institutes of repute, to finishing academics in flying colours, the idea of vocational education hardly crosses one mind. Numerous websites and excess information available on Internet(not necessarily leading) adds to the mayhem.
I shall sum up the essence of the magazine in a few points:
1) The idea is to educate freshers on the industry perspective in terms of technical know how, the domain knowledge , if any etc
2) To inform them about latest technological advancements that influence the hiring and training patterns of companies
3) To groom them in aspects of behavior, attitude , dressing sense, communication flaws etc
4) To show them the gap which needs to be filled up before their corporate life begins.
5) Suggesting the Universities, colleges about changes that they may need to introduce, due to prevailing market conditions.
6) Suggestions on Faculty Development Programs
Who better to tell them about all this and much more than the HR/Recruitment Heads themselves. We anticipate that they will come forward and provide their valuable insights with only these students but also other people of the Education sector like the Vice Chancellors, Chancellors , Deans as well as members of the HR fraternity.
CAMPUS TODAY is a magazine which is circulated amongst 3lac + students, 10000+ HR professionals and numerous Institutes, Pan India .
Our team aims at gathering relevant information required by these youngsters and present it in a comprehensive (yet non-exhaustive) fashion, in order to make their decisions clear and the path forward objective.
From grooming tips to handling interviews , from technology updates to College fests , from being freshers to professionals—the magazine will cater to all such issues.
Your contribution is sought for in the form of articles, along with your photograph, on some of the topics mentioned below:
The education system of India—apt or in need of syncing with corporates
Expectations from freshers when they hit the floor
Campus Hiring trends and patterns over the years
Branding a company before Campus Hiring
Technological knowhow relevant to your Organization(any specific skill set that will act as advantage if known by the fresher)
CSR activity (relating to education) that your organization has undertaken
Any word of advice for present day Faculty
Case studies pertaining to in-house training & induction methodologies
Revamping the classroom style education
Handling Interviews
You are more than free to add a few more topics, pertaining to freshers and campus hiring, on your own.
A small effort on your part will go a long way in enabling the students to make a right career decision and also to take corrective action.

Dear Ms. Banerjee,
It's great to hear about your CAMPUS TODAY MAGAZINE. An initiative to educate the youngsters is a brainstorming idea of representation. I agree with Sravanthi, "It is very interesting," as many of them would like to seek a magazine that could help nourish one's progression. Let us know where could be the possibility of getting the same.

Dear Ms. Banerjee,
The initiative that you have come up with is worth appreciating. I would like to suggest some ideas:
1. Put the magazine for online subscription (so that it can reach millions and also provide technological aid).
2. Include a list of good colleges, such as A+ colleges, to guide students in choosing the right college (as there are many unauthorized and unregistered colleges in today's time).
3. Focus on providing internships to students if possible (internships are one of the most important aspects of a student's life).
