Our ancestors had no clothes to wear, no house for privacy, only a healthy mindset and belief. A criminal mind, sick mind can think of raping a 3/4-year-old child. What provocation are we talking about? I am in agreement for punishment with Muslim countries where such sick people would be stoned to death in public view. Please, what have daughters/sisters done to be raped by fathers and brothers? Please don't bring attire and Western culture into the picture, but focus on the sick and filthy mindset and the lack of needed punishment.

(Fact Check Failed/Partial)-The user's reply contains incorrect and inappropriate information regarding punishment practices like stoning in Muslim countries. Such extreme measures are not in line with human rights or legal standards. It is important to address issues of crime through a fair and just legal system.
One thing, I am really not able to understand... Are men really weak who can't control their feelings and behave like wild animals? There must be something wrong with those men involved in such dirty/selfish/ruthless/wild activities. For sure, they don't have fear of God in their hearts nor do they believe and have faith in God. Such people are animals but not humans.

sorry friend, don’t insult animals. They don’t rape. comparing rapists to animals is not relevant. Rapists can not be compared with any creatures, they are psycos. pon

Hijaab for men
People usually only discuss ‘hijaab’ in the context of women. However, in the Glorious Qur’an, Allah (swt) first mentions ‘hijaab’ for men before ‘hijaab’ for the women.
The Qur’an mentions in Surah An Noor:
“Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: and Allah is well acquainted with all that they do.”[Al Qur’an 24:30]
The moment a man looks at a woman and if any brazen or unashamed thought comes to his mind, he should lower his gaze.

So long as we look for others to blame, be they scantily clad women, cheap films, Western culture, etc., the problem will not go away. In fact, we are in danger of rationalizing and to some extent even validating such monstrous behavior. Irrespective of external temptations or titillations, truly humane persons, with a sense of innate dignity and self-respect, would never force themselves on another. Such acts must be consensual. Moreover, when we talk about rape, it is not just about sex but also about extreme violence. Of course, humans have strong urges, but we also need to have the strength to control them. It is about respecting the other and, most of all, about respecting yourself. It is about the values and morals you possess.
And yes, it is definitely about upbringing. I am married to an Englishman who is equally appalled at the recent horrific tragedy in Delhi. My son is British and a fine young gentleman who treats all women as ladies, including the person who comes to help us clean our house. I have always been proud to be an Indian in my British family, but just now, seeing how women, who form half our population, are treated in India - be it female foeticide, dowry killings, or "eve-teasing" - my pride, not in my country but in many of its menfolk, is somewhat tempered.

(Fact Check Failed/Partial)-The user's reply contains valuable insights about personal responsibility and societal attitudes towards violence against women. However, it does not directly address the legal or HR-related aspects of the original post. It is important to note that rape is a criminal act and not consensual. Consensual acts are based on mutual agreement, whereas rape involves lack of consent. It is essential to focus on legal and HR frameworks when discussing such serious issues. amendment: true
Here's an old study, yet stands relevant till date. A criminal mind needs no provocation. It is destined to commit crimes. It will prey upon, no matter what. Capital punishment will instill fear. The need of the hour is a value-based society and a strong rehabilitation system for the survivors.

The provided study on the criminal mind of rapists, while relevant to understanding criminal behavior, does not address the specific issues raised in the original post about blame on men and women in cases of sexual violence.
Actually, I have seen that 99.99% of females are decent or just friendly. Only 0.01% of females are over-friendly and want to be the center of attention always, for which they can do anything. In one of my experiences, if you become a whistleblower to her, ensuring that no one misbehaves with her, those 0.01% of females respond rudely, telling you to mind your own business and that they will be who they were and are.
On the other side, 99.99% of males are always watching females with bad intentions, even though they may not proceed further. Something seems to be missing because in animals, when the mating season arrives, males attract and please females to seek love. There is nothing like rape; the female's wish always supersedes in animals.
My question is, have we lowered our mentality even below that of animals by suppressing the natural instinct of respecting females? From childhood, females are always treated like second-class citizens in terms of study options, daily meals, household labor work, etc. This thinking propo

Hello Viewers,
Since the start of this thread, the condition of the young girl NIRBHAYA - The Brave Heart, worsened and she is no longer with us. The Indian Government is seriously contemplating to enact and enforce more stringent laws. In my view, the debate on who is to be blamed will not take us far. It is time that due importance is given to teaching of MORAL from a very young age to all the children and ensure that they grow as more responsible and law-abiding citizens.

During childhood, her brother was loaded with new shoes, dresses, and books to learn, while she was gifted a broom, a wiper, and lots of tears. In her teenage years, she missed tasty, delicious food to eat and got only crumbs. During her college days, she was forced to get married. Now, India is in favor of saving the girl child, but saving and dying afterwards like the way of the rape victim is better than dying in childhood.
We are all proud citizens of India. The need of the hour is to realize our responsibilities and put a halt to this evil crime. The government took a long time to punish Kasab because he was a citizen of another country. In the case of Nirbhaya, the culprits have been convicted, yet the government is still taking time to reach a decision.
