If an employee does not collect their salary for X number of years, or let's say they have foregone their salary (not officially), then what happens to that salary? Does it need to be credited to some government account after a said number of years? If there is an Act and Section (which there should be), please also assist me with that.

Hello Beckmandal,
Please provide more details of the issue or situation, as it has been ages since all government employees' salaries have been deposited into salary accounts in their respective banks. When the salary is deposited into the individual's bank account, it is no longer government money. It is up to the individual concerned to make proper arrangements with his/her bank branch to handle the money.

Hello beckmandal,
Pragnaa HRCS has provided the right approach to handle the situation you mentioned. It seems like I mistook or misread that you were referring to government employees in my earlier post on this thread.
