Dear All,

I am preparing a PowerPoint presentation on the government's role in various laws. For that, I require some information such as:
1) Upgradation and implementation of various laws.
2) Disadvantages of the Factory Act, labour laws, and Mathadi Act from the employer's point of view.
3) Recommendations to change particular clauses or laws.

In short, I want to explain how government authorities, due to unnecessary laws and rules, are causing Indian companies to struggle in the market. Please help and suggest points that you think the government should change in the Factory Act, labour laws, or Mathadi.

Thanks and regards,
Vaishali

Hi,

How do you expect us to say all these things in public when we do not know who you are? How can you explain government authorities about the difficulties employers are facing? For every act, there are state rules that companies should follow. So, the feedback will not be the same from all states. You may not be able to prepare a consolidated report in a PowerPoint presentation, as all acts are interlinked with state rules.

Thanks,

Dear Vaishali Madam,

We highly appreciate your initiative on the subject. In fact, we have been contemplating numerous times on how to address the mismatch between the Government's role - as outlined in the Factory Act - and its practical implementation, which is proving challenging for industries to comply with. It requires a review based on the actual situation. For instance, we can consider aspects such as working hours, minimum wage, etc.

Please keep us updated with your presentation.

With kind regards,
Kiran Parmar
