I want to confirm with u seniors that is it right bifurcation of salary. I have made it in keeping old posts of cite hr in mind.
Gross = 20,000/-
Basic(50% of Gross) =10,000/-
HRA(60% of basic) =6,000/-(amount left:4000/-)
conveyance(40% of amount left) =1600/-
Personal phone allow. (25% of amount left) =1000/-
special allow. (35% of amount left) =1400/-
If PF and PT not applicable and Is conveyance and anything is taxable? after some limit? i seen in one post here that it is taxable after some limit.

Dear Preethi,
Gross = 20,000/-
Basic(60% of Gross) =12,000/-
HRA(50% of basic) =6,000/-
conveyance =750/-
Medical allowance = 1250.
Here you are not going to pay PF since the basic in more than 6500
Also you are exempted from Conveyance for upto 800 / month
Also you are excempted from Medical allowance for upto Rs. 1250.

Dear Kavya,
Payroll consists of all the salary components like Basic, DA, HRA, Conveyance, Medical Allowance etc.
The salary is calculated for no. of days you are present.
There will be statutory deduction like ESI, PF,PT and other deduction like TDS, Loan etc.
The Payroll sheet shows the employee gross salary, Additional income like incentive, bonus etc, deductions and his net pay.
