Dear Friend,
I would also like to add an important point to the one rightly mentioned by our friend Alphonse. It is not that companies do not hire HR people at all, but let us also understand that the number of people working in the HR department (especially in core HR) of any company is far too less compared to the marketing and other departments.

Dear Friend,
I agree with both of you, but would like to add that most HR fresher requirements are fulfilled through references. As a consultant, out of 10 requirements, 7 to 8 are usually fulfilled by reference. That's why it is difficult to find an opportunity in HR.

Dear Friend,
HR, being a people manager, has the capability of managing 50, 100, 500, or 1000 employees. Hence, for every 100 employees, there is one HR manager. The ratio generally ranges from 1:50 to 1:100. Attrition is lower compared to other functions, and if there are vacancies, recruitment in HR is usually less compared to other departments.
Thank you.

Hi,
I agree with our friends Alphonse & Dwijendra, but I think that HR opportunities are really increasing now. Companies are understanding the importance of HR in the recent world. According to me, the main reason for that is the majority of big organizations are going global. When going global comes into the picture, all the organizations will consider HR to be very strong. I think HR freshers have a bright future ahead.

Yeah, I want to add one more point to the above all points. HR managers or executives' jobs in companies are very sensitive positions through which companies may lose or gain. Hence, companies may offer fewer opportunities. They don't hire a candidate unless they know the candidate and they have a reference.

Dear,
Nowadays, you can find more HR professionals in the market. Everyone knows about HR now, whereas earlier it was not the case. An HR professional cannot go for changing jobs frequently; you will find it challenging, but you have to wait and keep searching.
All the best.
