Hi all,

We are planning to celebrate Friendship Day this Saturday. Who should I go about it? I am planning for a team-building friendship game but do not have any idea on how and what it will be. Can someone please help?

Hi Kanupriya,

Don't mind, but before giving any suggestions, I would like to know about your organization and employee strength. If possible, could you also provide some information regarding the profiles? This will help me give better suggestions.

Amit Seth.

Hi Kanupriya,

Hmm, you may create a list of activities to make it a memorable day for your employees. Here are some suggestions:

- Arrange Friendship Bands for all the employees.
- Organize some indoor games and award gifts to the winners.
- Consider hosting an Antakshari session based on friendship songs with a prize for the winner.
- Have a big cake to celebrate Friendship Day.
- Screen a friendship-themed movie like "Dil Chahta Hai," "Muqaddar Ka Sikandar," "Sholay," or any other.

I understand that the list is getting long and time is limited, so you can choose some ideas from these suggestions.

Hi Amit,

Thank you very much for your suggestions. I have planned a Sudoku contest, and we will all be creating a poster on friendship. That is all that is planned; I hope the event is successful.

Hi Kanupriya,

It is difficult to tell and explain any particular game here. You can create your own game where participants will need to work in teams of 2 or more. One such game involves having a team of 2-3 people, two wooden planks with ropes tied on the longer sides of both planks. Participants will stand on both planks with one leg on one plank and the other leg on the other plank while holding the ropes in their hands. They have to march together along with the planks. If anyone falls off, you start again. The goal is to cover a certain distance within a time limit, requiring a lot of coordination.

Alternatively, you can provide materials like paper, cardboard, glue, etc., and ask them to create a specific object within a set time frame. How they approach this task showcases their teamwork and innovation.

Thank you.
