Team Building Activity is nothing but bring the Bonding witin the Team. They are usually done with the Group along with the Pay manager. The team would go out of the City and stay for a day or two. Best method is stay in a Tent rather than in a twin apartment. In a tent 5-8 people can stay together. The facilitator would decide who has to stay with whom. Facilitator would bring in lot of team activity by dividing the group into 3 or 4 and then begins the activity. Each group will have its Leader, Communicator and a observer. Free Lancers do these activities and they are conducted in Coorg, Ooty, Kodai, Hilly terain,..

I think frequent picnics of office people and camping can be a good excercises.
You may try it. It would be an outing with team building activities. In our organization there is picnic arranged at beach by the management to team build the management. you can start this paractice at your end too.
