Hello Everyone,
My company is going for ISO Certification, and the responsibility is on me. I went through various threads and have a checklist for conducting an internal audit. Thanks to all of you for sharing the materials. However, some things are still unclear. Please shed some light on these aspects:
1. Cost for obtaining ISO 9001:2008
2. Where to apply?
3. Time Duration for acquiring it.
It would be great if someone who has implemented ISO Certification could guide me on the process. The loopholes, the requirements, etc., shared. Thanks, waiting for a reply...

Hi Eshanse,
We have received the certificate through a consultant. It is always better to get these kinds of things done through a consultant. We just need to follow their instructions, and they will take care of everything. You do not need to invest much in this. The consultant fee would be around 5K, and the auditor's fee would be approximately 11K. The process can be completed within a week.
If you are interested, I can help you get in contact with the consultant.

Hi Sandhya,
Thank you for the quick reply.
Are there any additional costs incurred other than the consultant fee and auditor fee, such as fees to the certifying body and recurring costs? Do we need to send the application for ISO Certification to BIS? Will the consultant help with the documentation part? Also, could you recommend a good and affordable consultant?
Thank you,
Eshansh

You need not to bother about all these. There won't be any further cost other than consultant and auditor. Everything will be taken care of by the consultant including major documentation. You just need to furnish the company details, and there will be minimal documentary work required from your end.
