Hello! I am serving in the police department. I have just passed my MBA in Human Resource Management. In order to obtain the degree, I have to submit the final project report. I want to arrange the project within my department. In the police department, the Establishment Branch functions as the HR department.
To create the project report on the police department, I need your kind guidance. Please advise me on how I can accomplish this task.

Hello,
Please mention the subject you want to focus on for your project as that is the most important aspect. Additionally, outline the objectives of the project before proceeding with it. Without a decided topic, it becomes challenging for us to provide you with proper guidance.

Dear Glaring,
Where are you studying? I presume that you are undertaking a distance learning or part-time program.
You have not answered Archana's question. You have just posted the instructions given to you for the Internship. Is this your internship or your final project?
Please see the thread started by me on "Research Methodology" at Citehr, using the Search Forum facility.
Have a nice day.

Please select one, mention the objectives of your study of that particular subject, do some research over the net, read some books, and collect some material... and then you shall discuss it here, and people will surely help you.
I hope you understand what we are trying to say here.

Thanks, Archna!
I want to arrange my internship report on the police department because I'm serving in the Police. Please give me some sketch/helping material to complete my report.
I'm sorry to all; I think I can't convey my question to you appropriately... :(

Hello glaring,
[Simhan & Archna are both right.]
Unless you decide the TOPIC of the project, how will they or anyone else help you? What do they help you with? It's your cat—so YOU have to bell it.
Since you seem to be so confused, suggest you go step-by-step. FIRST decide the TOPIC. Then the subsequent steps will automatically follow. Even in the Police department, I am sure there can be so many topics that one can decide upon—though I am not in that department, I am aware of the internal scenario to an extent.
In doing so, suggest you keep a few things in mind when you decide the topic.
1. Which area are you comfortable dealing with in your project?
2. In which area/department do you think you will get cooperation from the seniors concerned who would be involved in your project?
3. When you broadly lay out the topics you want to consider seriously, check out the approximate timeframes each might take to complete. This way you will avoid choosing a topic that may take more time than your academic project timeframe allows you, or inversely, choosing a very small project that's finished in a very short time.
4. Make contact with the Establishment Branch & the actual Department which would be involved in the project through your Superior/Department Head—I am sure you are aware such protocol issues may make or mar the whole effort.
5. And finally, last but not least, think of how EACH of the possible topics you want to consider CAN BENEFIT THE DEPARTMENT—you will need this info when you sell the idea to the concerned people in the concerned Departments. Whether they will actually be put to use after you submit your Project Report to them (which I think is mandatory in Government departments) or not isn't and shouldn't be your concern—we know how many such efforts get filed and forgotten. If they use it—well and good. If they don't—well and good. That's your concern.
Hope these inputs help you to move forward.
