There is recent information from EPFO regarding PMRPY (Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Protsahan Yojana - Employer Share 8.33% will be borne by the central government). Does anybody have information about LIN number allotment and online application? I think PMRPY is only applicable for the garments industry.

PMRPY is applicable to manufacturing industries registered under MSME provided:

1) The employee is freshly employed after 01-08-2016, earning below 15000, and has no previous EPF account.
2) Form 11 and KYC are seeded with the Aadhar number/Bank account (use the citizen portal of EPFO to make an advance UAN).
3) Under the Shram Suvidha portal, LIN is allotted to the employee.

If the above criteria are met, the employer is eligible to file a claim through PMRPY and will get back 8.33 percent of their contribution (for the textile sector, 8.33 + 3.67 = 12% is applicable).

Hi Senthil,

For LIN, you need to register on https://shramsuvidha.gov.in/home. Once you start creating a fresh account, they will ask for phone numbers. Provide the ones that are registered for your organization's ESIC and PF accounts. Then, the account gets activated, and the portal will pull details from your ESIC or PF account. You have to link multiple ESIC and PF accounts to this if you have any.

I hope this information will be helpful to you, in addition to the one provided by U S Sharma.

Thanks,
Moushumi
