Hi everyone, my name is Abbas, and I am currently in my final year of graduation at Jodhpur University (Distance Learning). I am also working at Spectrosign Solutions as an HR recruiter. I don't want to bore you; it will only take a couple of minutes to go through. Recently, my mind has been stuck, and I am unable to think clearly. I have many queries. I am considering my career path in HR. I have been working as a recruiter for six months, but it doesn't align with my goals. I am interested in pursuing a part-time practical course in CORE HR. However, I don't have time to attend classes early in the morning or in the afternoon because I need to work to earn money.

My family is currently facing financial difficulties, and I am unable to afford the education I need to pursue my career in Human Resources. I am unsure about the steps I should take next. Do I need to take any courses to get into CORE HR? What should I focus on? After completing my graduation in three months, will I have opportunities in companies with one year of HR recruiter experience for CORE HR activities?

I would appreciate any advice on what steps I should take.

Dear Mr. Abbas HR,

Pursuing a distance learning MBA from various universities made available for people who seek work is a prima facie requirement. Since you are considering courses involving Core HR, the best suggested universities would be Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Here, the courses offered use a multimedia approach consisting of texts and audio-visual materials.

Another significant player in the Education industry is ICFAI - Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University. The course includes topics such as the foundation of management, organizational behavior, and managerial effectiveness.

Therefore, you may choose such programs to continue gaining experience while maintaining your current job. Once you obtain your degree, it will become much easier to secure a job in HR. As your career evolves, you may also transition into core HR functions.

Good Luck...!!

Dear Sharmila,

Thanks for your reply. Do you think pursuing a Masters in HR from IGNOU through distance learning will cover my whole syllabus? They do not have an option of objective papers in examinations but instead a complete theory. I am aware of a university that offers an MBA in HR through distance learning with a complete objective paper option in exams, not just theory, and that is SYMBIOSIS. I hope you don't mind providing me with the right suggestion for my career.

Dear Mr. Abbas,

Nice to see your fervor and passion to accomplish the PG program. In essence, I'm sure that IGNOU offers a theory module after an objective paper in OPENMAT entrance.

Besides the point, Symbiosis offers the planned course in an objective method - click [Symbiosis Distance Learning MBA: Evaluation Methodology - Snap 2013](http://learnhub.com) *(link updated to site home)* ([Search On Cite](https://www.citehr.com//results.php?q=Symbiosis Distance Learning MBA: Evaluation Methodology Snap 2013) | [Search On Google](https://www.google.com/search?q=Symbiosis Distance Learning MBA: Evaluation Methodology Snap 2013))

Heard from my pals that "Maharshi Dayanand University", Delhi, Rohtak has also developed such an objective module course for students. You may check with the university as I have no relevant information on the same.
