I would suggest a simple way: Google it, and you will find a lot of exercises to develop these skills. Note down all these exercises and think about which ones would suit you the best, then start doing them. Along the way, try to develop a passion for it. When you develop the passion, everything will become easier. The only thing you need is patience to gain these skills, as they will take time and won't come all at once.

I was very bad in English a year ago. After following the aforementioned method, I could see a considerable improvement in my language skills.

TRY IT! ALL THE BEST

Hi, Satish,

To prepare convincingly for any job interview, you need to have a holistic approach. Developing soft skills by reading extensively and enhancing your vocabulary is essential. Additionally, preparing for the selection rounds is crucial. Reviewing past years' placement papers can be beneficial. You can find them here - [Placement papers | Placement Paper For 2009, 2010 and 2011 - Jobspert.com](http://jobspert.com/placement-papers/).

Some easy exercises that can be done for this are:
- Read the English newspaper loudly.
- Take a small topic, read it, and try to present the summary in front of the mirror.
- Try to talk to your friends in English.
- Keep a dictionary with you always.
- Watch English movies or serials (at least for 15 minutes daily).
- Write at least 5 words daily to improve your vocabulary.

Remember, it's a language. You can't cram it. It can only be learned when you start enjoying it. Practice is the main thing.

Hey guys,

This is Shezaan. I understand English very well, and I am good at grammar. However, the problem is that when I try to speak a long sentence, it takes a few seconds, and I feel the person listening may think I am a learner. Please, guys, share some effective tips to improve this. I watch English news channels as well as English movies, but I don't completely understand.

So please, help me because I am really looking forward to working abroad. I will be waiting for your precious tips.

Thank you all.

Hey Shezaan,

Well said. I completely agree with you because I do have the same problem. It's not a question of good English or proper grammar. The main issue lies in framing the correct words to form a sentence during speaking or written communication. This is where we need help.

Thanks again.

Satish

Hi Sathish,

As a start, the simple way is to forget about English grammar. Think about how you speak Tamil fluently; is it in perfect grammar? We struggle with English because we learn grammar in school and are very conscious of using correct grammar while speaking. Forget about English grammar and try to speak it every day. Watch English movies with subtitles frame by frame. You will gain fluency by doing this.

Try this.

Thank you all for your support. I have really noticed that there are many people who speak sentences grammatically wrong but can still communicate smoothly. Well, I am trying to improve. I hope it will be useful for me. Insha-Allah. Take care, everyone.
