Dear HR, This is good topic to discuss, but still there are so many factors those are important also in job profile. India is a hub for software industry, but how many software engineers are working in thr domain. They have talent but they won’t be able to show that. An employee always looks forward to see good company as well good package to grow and satisfy for his future requirements. Everywhere we find that employee is not satisfied and they will try to see outcome and what they are doing in organization and what they are doing. When comparison starts then thr is end and employee start looking for other opening. Thr is a way to stop your employees from leaving [according to me] Understand employee first Understand his requirement Understand his interest of domain Understand what is his view he may not be comfortable with HR. Ask his best friend if necessary Understand his nature Understand his problems Understand how much time is devoted to his family Understand his family problems Understand his any financial issues Understand what he is thinking about his manager or team lead Understand any exploitation Understand any mind teasing is any Understand how is lead manager Understand how much pressure he can take Thr are so many to thk over it to stop employee from leaving organization Apply this and see the results, I am sure that you will find less employee leaving Rajesh Chalke 09892153206

for me a good organisation is an organisation which pays me well, for you it might be which is near to your home, for some X person it might be an organisation having good medical facilities and canteen. for some Y person it might be an organisation which has fixed working hours and saturday sunday holidays. for some Z person it might be an organisation which provides flexible and work from home options. and so on So in General a good organisation is an organisation which meets all above points which is an ideal situation, and not possible in practical world. So which is good for you , need not be good or important for me, whereas which is good for me ,, it may be vice versa. So what is meaning of good organisation, can you please explain. and would such organisation exist in practical .

Dear Ravi, After a long time I am again replying your query, now a days there are n number of MNC's are thr, to fulfill your expected requirements. I will name same of them like Google, SAP, etc are those are top companies they are really caring there employees. I do accept what you would like to say and insist me, but now a days there are many companies they are changing thr strategies, that y employees are getting attracted. In India slowly slowly this will change when MNC's target the Indian Employees market and Labour. We have to be positive for our Indian Market so that we can make a Good Organization to fulfill all mentioned requirements. Think over it, Sir to make a citehr to global. Rajesh

i completely agree with what you have to say, however at the same time i will take the liberty to reply on Rajesh's behalf. I think by "Good Organisation" we all mean organisations that have a better brand to boast of. Now i know this is very subjective, but just for some time think yourself if you would like to join an Infosys or a start-up organization...

There are a number of discussions on employee attrition; most of them centered around motivational factors. But I feel that whatever may be the scientific reason for leaving even ' the best organisation' the job security and recognition in the society are the main reason for leaving. Attrition in reputed MNC are also very high; most of these companies pay very good attention also. But since opportunities are plenty, an employee is not happy with the present and he jumps to another. In recent years it has been accepted as a trend and style to leave, leave and leave organisation. Even, those who remain in one employment are looked at as if they are good for nothing. Why employees in Govt. offices/ departments continue till their superannuation? Are they happy with the atmosphere/ work culture/ employee relations over there? Not at all, but they feel secured and they feel that they have a kind of recognition in the society where they live. I have seen especially in rural India, a manager in a highly reputed MNC finding it difficult to get a bank loan whereas a class IV servant of government department easily gets it!! If your employment market is dull without much opportunities, employees will hesitate to leave good organisation. Those who are waiting for their offer letters do not add to production any more but such guys are wastes to employers. This is because of the attitude of employees who prepare themselves for jumping!!!! Regards, Madhu.T.K
