Hi all,

I joined XXXXX company with a 2-year bonding period. The bond breakage amount is 2 lakhs. Within just 1 month, I am already facing a lot of struggles in this company. I am working for more than 12 hours a day, receiving no training, experiencing conflicts with my manager, and feeling humiliated by the Team Lead. I am feeling completely depressed and have decided to leave the job.

Could you please suggest how I should approach this situation? Should I abscond or should I send a resignation email stating my issues? I do not require an experience certificate.

Hi,
I would suggest you to get relieved properly. Please check your bond. In any bond, there will be some separation clause apart from the monetary part. As you want to leave in just two months, they may consider a 2-3 months notice period. Talk to your HR and explain your situation. They will try to help you.

But please don’t abscond just like that..

Yes, absconding is not the path nor the solution. You may submit the resignation within compliance to the notice period. As for the bond, you can take a stand that the bond is not enforceable if, indeed, no special training has been imparted. Anyhow, the bond cannot be enforced unilaterally.
