Activities of the HR Generalist are......
Responsible for the end to end Recruitment process
To assist in the manpower plan by obtaining the manpower indents on a monthly basis.
Get the approval on all the manpower requirements as submitted by the department heads.
Resource the required skill sets by the utilization of the necessary recruitment channel.
Validate the profile of the candidates by matching them with the requirements.
Arrange and schedule for the HR interview of the Shortlisted candidates.
Analyze the results of the shortlisted candidates for the Technical interview.
Keep update of Interview evaluation sheets of all interviewed candidates.
Providing MIS on a time to time basis to HR Head
Personnel Security
Maintain Employee Database
Maintain Personnel File Records
Issue offer letter/increment letter/experience letter/warning letters/Termination letter and other correspondence
Time and attendance update
Documentation related to HR Department and Office Administration
Assist and arrange for all social activities like Cricket match, dinner and Lunch parties etc.
Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
Interprets and applies laws, rules, and regulations applicable to the organization.
Enforce Code of Conduct
Maintain confidentiality and respect the trust of management w.r.t. to all the responsibilities handled.
Play the role of office intelligence to the Head HR and the President
Carry any other responsibilities as assigned by the HR Head or the President from time to time
Managing Petty Expenses
Administrative Vendor Interface
Responsible for the effective company environment
Directs computation of pay according to company policy.
Directs compilation and preparation of other payroll data such as pension, insurance, and credit union payments.
Reviews and approves payroll deductions.
Reviews payroll to ensure accuracy.
Issues written and oral instructions.
Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.
Identifies administrative needs and develops appropriate solutions or recommendations.
Reviews and answers correspondence.
Directs services such as computer and office equipment maintenance and repair, supplies, mail, and files.
Getting Visas for the employees going for training or for Seminar
Now, for the HR Generalist Qualification, It must be atleast MBA HR
or PGD HR in some companies.
