I retired from Larsen & Toubro after 33 years as Head of HR. From 2011 am practising as a consultant and trainer. PMS is not a simple exercise but a philosophy for improving the performance of individual employee and also the organisation's growth and profit. Format depends upon the parameters that you define for the employees to improve their contribution year after year. Any parameter that you decide should lead to one of the factors of performance... First is Key Result Area... from Security to Pantry, everybody has to contribute in terms of Revenue generation, reduced customer complaints, saving cost for company, avoidance of redoing work, training and development, building knowledge, skill etc.
