Hi, I am looking for an Employee Leaves and Benefits policy for a 24x7, 5-day-a-week BPO servicing a US client from Hyderabad. I would appreciate it if anyone could share the documents/policies. Does anyone have a template for shift planning/roster?

This has to be done based on manpower required against each operation, staggered day off, shift rotation, etc., considering there is no ready-made shift roster available.
Basically, for every 5 employees to manage the off-cover, 7 employees will be required. 5 employees will provide 5 x 5 = 25 mandays, whereas the organization needs 5 x 7 = 35 mandays for 24 x 7 operations. Therefore, there is a shortfall of 35 - 25 = 10 mandays. 1 person equals 5 mandays in a week, and 10 mandays equal 10/5 = 2 extra persons will be required.
Moreover, there will be a need for leave cover that has to be considered.
