Sir, I decided to resign on 22-12-2021, but management assured me in the mail that I would receive an increment on Jan 22 itself. However, the increment was not given, and my new offer was also revoked contrary to the company's commitment. Should I adhere to the notice period even though they have not provided me with a relieving letter and experience letter as well?

The serving of notice period is necessary once you resign. Did you actually put in the papers on 22.12.21, also whether you withdrew it on the assurance of management. It is not clear what you meant by 'revoke my offer'. Your claim for relieving order and experience certificate is on completion of the notice period. Please give clarity on the status so as to give a meaningful response.

Sir,
1. My mail to the company:
Dear Sir,
Based on your commitment, I am withdrawing my offer from the other company to continue to stay and work with XXX INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED. I hope that the commitment you made will be fulfilled in the January month salary, and the rest of my dues will be cleared to help me with the financial crisis I am facing now. I expect your support at all times.
2. My company's mail to me:
Dear Muthukumar,
We appreciate the decision you have made to stay back with our organization. We assure you that what we discussed will be taken care of effective Jan 22 onwards. Wishing you good luck.
3. The company has not implemented the salary revision as they committed. Should I obey the notice period? Please advise.

Hi,
You have refused the offer from a new company to stay with your current organization based on the assurance of an increment. However, your current organization is not living up to their words.
Now, in response to your query, write back to your current organization or the authorized person who committed to your increment, citing all the details that you have shared in the email. Mention that since you have not been paid as per the commitment made by the organization, you need to consider your earlier resignation date and also state your last working day clearly in the email.
They may not accept, but for a clean exit, you have to keep your communication clear and intact.
