I superannuated in Dec. 2013 from XXX Pvt Ltd Mumbai and applied for enhanced pension as per SC order. EPFO Bandra asks for Form 3A & 6A from my 3 Ex. employers. Two employers furnished the records but the third one, YYY Delhi, says that they do not maintain old records for more than 15 years and suggested obtaining the same from EPFO Delhi office. I contacted EPFO Delhi office and requested the concerned officials for Form 3A and 6A from the years 2003 to 2005. To my surprise, they also informed that they do not maintain records for more than 3 years; they destroy old records above three years. EPFO Bandra says that they cannot process my application for enhanced pension unless they receive the required records as per EPFO HO circular.

Now, please suggest ways and contacts to whom I could get help in this matter. Is EPFO Bandra right in demanding these forms for the calculation of enhanced pension? If EPFO office itself destroys their records after 3 years as per their system, how can employees furnish these records?
