Hi, I initiated a PF transfer in October '13, and I received an SMS from EPFO stating that my settled amount has been transferred to a bank account number. When I checked with my current employer, they informed me that they haven't received any information regarding this (it's been 6 months now). What should I do?

I agree with Mr. Pon. When you have initiated your PF transfer, it will affect your new PF account. You have to initiate your PF passbook online or get the PF statement for the year 2013-14, which will reflect the amount transferred. Your current employer will not receive intimation; it will directly affect.
The bank account number received by you through SMS is the bank account number of your current regional PF office.
