I worked in a renowned MNC for a year. During the period of my employment I had to take two months of leave as my mother was suffering from terminal cancer, I informed my HR ,manager as well as all the concerned person for leave extension . I got a response from the HR that they are looking into it and will get an update but didn't got any response from them. I even tried calling my HR and used to keep her posted about the entire scenario but they verbally terminated me without any prior notification (No normal termination mail). In the period of 1 year (3 months training and around 5 months project work). I even asked them via mail/call for the rejoining but didn't get any response.
I also had a bond for two years but I worked for a year ,Will I get an experience letter .

Hi,
It is very unfortunate that you have been terminated by your employer when you were attending your sick Mother.
You have mentioned that you were verbally terminated by your employer which is not clear. Normally many employers use to consider leave request from employees where medical reason is genuine. However when leaves are extended/prolonged without some fixed commitment of resuming back to work from employee side having no other option they may proceed with separation process as it hits the production count.
Still you can approach your employer by person with all medical documents and request for proper relief either by serving proper notice or payment in lieu of notice. Your employer might consider. At times communication gap will be the main reason for the conflict.
