Can you advise on the best HR policy for my company? This would include the leave policy, salary structure, medical facilities, etc.

2. Salary structure depends on the qualification, experience, duties, and responsibilities, as well as the financial capabilities of your company. Please post these details so that we can assist you. Kindly provide information on the number of employees and the nature of your business.

3. Medical facilities: If your company is covered by the ESIC Act, then registration under the ESIC Act is mandatory for employees earning up to Rs. 21,000. Other employees can be covered by a Group Health Insurance Policy, which is easier to administer for a reasonable premium. Alternatively, you may consider establishing a tie-up with a nearby specialty hospital through a rate contract agreement for cashless, comprehensive services including hospitalization. Additionally, you may opt for accident cum life insurance coverage for all your staff.

We are in the servicing industry. We provide services to various coaching classes and educational institutes through our software, which helps teachers generate question papers and check the answer sheets through the OMR Sheet. We also provide manual paper checking services. Here we have hired the following:

- Experienced Sales Team: CTC will be around 30k to 34k.
- Support Team: CTC 15k to 22k.
- Operations Team: around 15 employees with a take-home pay of 7k to 12k.
- Freelancers: 10 in number.

The total employee strength is around 40.

And one more thing, we still have not made any deductions from employees' salaries, except for PT and TDS, due to non-registration under S&E. Can we provide them with a salary slip without showing such statutory deductions? If you have a format for the above salary slip, please share it with me.

I could guess, basically you are based in software which is aimed at providing assistance to Coaching Institutes that are engaged in preparing for competitive exams.

Pl. see my remarks against each (extracted from your today's post):

My hunch is that you are located in Mumbai. If so, the CTC (really?) that you have proposed is not that flashy considering the cost of living standard in Mumbai.

Support team - CTC 15k to 22k (I'm afraid, if it's CTC, it could be below Minimum wages, please check this. Maybe not under CTC pattern, I suppose.)

Operations team around 15 employees - take home 7k to 12k (In this category also could be below minimum wages.)

Freelancers - 10
= Please check the Minimum Wages for Mumbai and stipulations as per Mumbai Shops & Estt. Act provisions.

Employee strength around 40
= You are very well into EPF & ESIC Act. and therefore you have to consider the costs involved that are to be included in CTC.
