Dear Fraternity,
We are a garments exporter based in Tirupur. We are eligible for a special scheme under the Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Protsahan Yojana (PMRPY) where the employer contribution (12%) towards PF remittance for new joiners (who are newly employed on or after 01.04.2016) is provided by the Central government.
Currently (from Jul '18), we have started availing this benefit. However, this scheme has been in place since August 2016, covering all eligible new workers with retrospective effect from 01.04.2016. Unfortunately, we have not utilized this benefit thus far. We have been remitting the dues on time for that period without registering ourselves and new workers in the scheme. Due to our lack of awareness of this benefit, it is entirely our fault for neglecting it.
Now, as a corrective measure, we are exploring the possibilities of reclaiming the benefits for our management. We have approached the Regional PF office in Coimbatore, where we were directed to meet the PRO. The PRO mentioned that there is a low probability of retrieving the benefits as they do not have any control over the scheme. Moreover, as the scheme's name suggests, it falls under the jurisdiction of the Central government.
Could any of you guide us on possible ways and the appropriate authority we should approach to reclaim those benefits, please?
Thanks & Regards,
M. Harishkumar

We have also tried this in Indore but have not received any response. Logically, the benefits should be given to all eligible employees from the date of commencement of the scheme. However, it seems that there is no procedure set for this. Perhaps we should all consider submitting a joint memo to EPFO/Ministry of Labour and Employment/PMO.

Dear All,
We are unable to register one of our contractors in PMRPY as we cannot log in to the portal with the existing login credentials of the ECR Portal of EPFO or the verified LIN Number. We have approached EPFO, but they have stated that they are unable to assist as the PMRPY portal belongs to the Central Govt.
Can anyone help me with whom we should approach to solve this problem?
Thank you.

Dear Seniors,
The ECR file return was rejected due to the wrong filing in the PF portal, but it shows PARALLEL EMPLOYMENT ECR ALREADY FILED. Now the PMRPY upfront value is zero. We are supposed to get the PMRPY benefits around Rs. 79,032.
Please help me. Is there any way to get the PMRPY benefits, and reply as soon as possible to file the final return.
