Hi, Friend,
This is related to man-hours that a particular employee needs to undergo training. I hope it is per year, i.e., that the particular employee needs to undergo 40 hours of training. In the case of the financial year, i.e., 1st April to 31st March '18:
A training calendar needs to be prepared based on the areas the employee needs to undergo training. For example:
- April '18 - 8 hrs (Behavioral)
- May '18 - 4 hrs (Safety)
- June '18 - 4 hrs (GMP)
- August '18 - 8 hrs (Technical)
- September '18 - 4 hrs (Safety)
- November '18 - 4 hrs (GMP)
- January '19 - 4 hrs (SOPs)
- February '19 - 4 hrs (Tech)
Hope this is clear.

Dear Rudradeva,
If you are from a manufacturing company, then for your business, the following costs are important:
a) Inventory Carrying Cost of Raw Materials
b) Work in Progress (WIP) Inventory Costs
c) Inventory Carrying Cost of Finished Goods
d) Capital costs to run the operations
e) Capacity costs
f) Maintenance costs
g) Quality costs
h) Inspection costs
Therefore, your focus should be on controlling the above costs and not on the number of training hours per se. Controlling the above costs may demand training for more than 40 hours. Therefore, you may decide your priorities based on the business requirements or hours of the training.
Thanks,
