Hi Anitha,
In my company we give "Star of the Month" and "Star Team of the Month" award every month. The choosen employee/ Team gets a certificate and a coupon of Rs 750/- to an individual and Rs 1500/- to a Team to have lunch/ dinner.
We also give cash bonus when someone shows outstanding performance. this bonus may sometimes be as high as employees monthly salary.
Besides this, for recognision we always make it a point to sent appreciation mails to employees which usually goes either from CTO or Delivery Managers of our company.

We are running tthe following Reward & recognition programs within the organization. The main motive behind running suchprogrmas is to give recognition to atlist 20% of the total manpower. Guidelines for each of the program should be clear, employees should be aware of it.
If the award is given in the presence of top management then it add values & weigtage to it. If the company has monthly newspaper or bulletin board then they can mention about the same on it.
1. Monthly best attendance award. (Best 3)
2. Quaterly best team award.
3. Best employee of the quater.
4. Best suggestion award.
5. Emerging leadership award.
6. Best of the employee of the year.
Since ours is a Group company, we also have the best group of the year scaled on 5S, production, TQM, TPM & revenue contribution.
