Hi Everyone,

As I have resigned from my current organization Truefarm Foods India Pvt Ltd, today is my last working day. Now HR is saying that you will receive the Experience letter after 1 month during your Full and Final settlement.

Is this correct?

There is no legal or mandatory requirement to issue experience certificate. It depends on organisation to have its own rules in this regard.

Dear Jayesh,

You will receive an experience certificate after you are relieved from the services of the company. You have just submitted your resignation. Please complete your notice period. Refer to the certified Standing Orders regarding the service certificate.

If the Standing Orders Act is applicable to the company and if the employee has worked for more than 3 months, then it is mandatory for the employer to issue a service certificate at the time of separation, i.e., on the last working day. KK!HR, please check the standing orders rules.
