My previous employer has created two PF accounts for me. I was in the UK onsite for one and a half months, so they created two PF accounts—one prior to the UK and another when I returned from the UK. Both accounts are attached to a single UAN.

The old account should have been closed after two PF deposits, i.e., for the months of May and June 2015. However, the employer deposited my PF in the old account from January 2017 to June 2017. This may be the reason for the mismatched dates in the PF office data.

Due to the wrongly deposited PF, the old PF account has entries till June 2017, and the new PF account has entries till December 2016. Now, I want to transfer my old PF account into my new PF account, but my claim got rejected on the basis of mismatched joining and leaving dates.

So, the question is, what are the remedies for these?

Hi, ask your employer to write a letter to RPFC, Area, and mention to move funds from your old account to a new account with all details like EPF number both old and new and the UAN number. Attach your Aadhar proof as well. This will proceed with the transfer of funds.

Guys, I raised a grievance on the EPFO site, and I received a reply within one day from EPFO. The reply is as follows:

This is in reference to your Grievance registered vide Registration Number ROCOI/E/2017/XXXX. It is informed that after processing your grievance, the following action(s) have been taken: On verification of this office's records, you have two EPF accounts linked with one UAN number, and the contribution was remitted based on the UAN number since January 2017. Therefore, you are requested to kindly submit the transfer claim form-13 (revised) at the PGHS Section directly for verification and further action in transferring your previous EPF account to your present EPF account. As a result, we are closing your grievance from this office. Please reference the same in your future correspondence.

So my question is: Is the PGHS office the same as the PF office? If not, where can I obtain the PGHS office address? How long will it take to resolve?
