Dear Friends,

Can you please help me in providing guidance? If I have PF balance lying in two PF accounts and have resigned from my job to start a practice, how can I withdraw PF from both accounts? I cannot raise Form 13 as I am not currently employed with any employer.

Dear Friend, May your PF accounts are different but your universal account is one, so check to which UAN no your accounts linked. Through that UAN you may withdrawal amount from both accounts.

Thank you, Ravi, for the response. Both of my PF accounts are linked to the same UAN. If I withdraw online through UAN, the withdrawal is only possible from the last PF account. This has left me in a state of confusion. Could you please advise if there is a specific process I should follow to withdraw from both accounts?

Regards,

Jogeshwar

Dear VK,

I left the job in Nov 2018 and have not joined any employer till now. Should I initiate withdrawal formalities online through the portal? I was a little confused as the EPFO call center told me that all PF balance needs to be transferred to the last PF account as withdrawal is only possible from the last PF account. Is this correct?

Regards,
Jogeshwar

Dear,

Before going for a withdrawal, please check if both of your accounts are linked. Otherwise, you won't be able to withdraw the full amount. Please open your passbook and check if both accounts are showing in one universal account. Linking both accounts is necessary for a full amount withdrawal.
