Hi,

No one can stop your PF amount. Ask your last employer to cooperate with us, or you can file a complaint with the PF authority (Commissioner). The Authority will take legal action against your last company.

Secondly, you can transfer your PF to your new employer if you are currently employed.

Thirdly, fill out your PF withdrawal form, have it signed by a notary or a gazetted officer, and submit it to the authority.

Hi,

I agree with Vishwas. No one can stop you from withdrawing your PF money. You can either withdraw or transfer your PF funds. Transfer of PF can be done to your current employer in case you are working.

For withdrawal - fill Form 19 & Form 10, and attach the same. In the case of withdrawal, the amount will be transferred to the bank account that you provide. A canceled check copy of that bank is required to be attached with the withdrawal form.

For transfer - fill Form 13, and attach the same. After filling out the form, give it to your previous employer. The signing authority of that company will sign the form and send it to the PF office. Both the transfer and withdrawal processes take a minimum of 60 days. Follow up with your employer and ask them to give you the PF acknowledgment slip. In turn, you can follow up with the PF office.

In case of further queries, let me know.

Hi Sir/Madam,

I missed out on getting my PF from my earlier organization where I worked 3 years ago. When I try contacting them now, they are not sure since people have changed, and they are finding it hard to search my profile. Is there a way I can claim my PF after 3+ years with a notary signature? Please assist me with this.

Thanks,
Vijay
