I am planning to raise a complaint against my boss for not paying me 15 days' salary (September month) and for not providing a relieving letter.
Last month, when I was unwell, I sent a message informing that I would be absent for 2 days, but there was no reply from them. Two days later, before starting work, I called my boss to inform him that I would be coming in. He responded by saying that I need not come to the office from that day onwards. When I requested payment for the 15 days' salary, he mentioned that they would only pay for 7 days as I had taken a lot of leave over the past 4 months. He claimed that I did not inform him about my leaves and did not send any emails regarding the same. I explained that I had messaged him, but he disputed it, asking for the email proof. I clarified that I had messaged him via phone and even sent him screenshots. However, his wife, who is also an owner of the office, intervened and made derogatory remarks, questioning my performance during the probationary period and stating that I was unfit for work.
I have only been working at this company for 4 months, and the offer letter did not specify any restrictions on taking leave. Additionally, they have not provided me with a relieving letter. Since that incident, they have been ignoring my calls and emails. Whenever I call, they either disconnect the call or claim to be busy. They have previously dismissed a coworker in a similar abrupt manner via email.
Therefore, I am considering filing a formal complaint against my boss. Can anyone provide guidance on how to proceed with this complaint?

Try to solve the issue amicably by discussing with your boss. If it doesn't work for you, then try to file a complaint. If in case of any such requirements, we do assist you.

Hi Anamika,
You did not mention which type of employment you were working under, e.g., it was On-roll (Permanent employee) or Contractual basis. Did you receive an Appointment Letter from your office, and how many leaves were you allowed to avail in that letter? Before filing any case, you should do your homework. Make sure you are not at fault at any point; otherwise, it will weaken your case.
