Dear sir, I resigned from my position at JSW and was relieved on 27th Feb 2015.

I submitted the PF withdrawal form along with all the required documents and a no dues certificate.

It has been 5 months, but I have not yet received my settlement. Other settlements such as salary, leave amount, and bonus were credited to my account within 2 months.

I contacted JSW Toranagallu, and they advised me to speak to Mr. Sridhar Natrajan at the Salem office. However, when I called Mr. Sridhar, he informed me that they had sent all the forms and documents to the PF office and asked me to contact them.

After a week, I visited the Salem PF office with my details, and their response was as follows:

"Sir,

Your claim has been rejected and sent back to the employer. You are requested to get in touch with the employer along with a copy of your PAN card and Form 15G/15H; otherwise, a TDS amount of 34.608 percent will be deducted.

Regards,

SRO
Salem"

Despite my attempts to reach out to the employer, specifically Mr. Sridhar at JSW Salem, he continues to direct me to the PF office.

I am uncertain of what steps to take next.

Dear Abbas,

I already wrote to the PF officer at Salem. They replied to me that your claim was rejected. Please contact your employer along with a copy of PAN and Form 15G; otherwise, the TDS amount will be deducted at 34.608%.

Now, I have contacted the company or employer, but they are not responding properly. I left JSW five months ago, so in the 15G form, should I fill it according to my current income or today's date, or should I fill in the old date according to JSW?

I am a little confused as I have never filled out such a form before. Is it a self-declaration only? Or does it need to be verified by any officer?

I talked to my previous company, and they told me to send my PAN copy and Form 15G by post. They are not guiding me on any of my queries.

Please guide me, friends.

Thanks & Regards,

Dear Bittu,

Thanks for your guidance. Now, I want to ask about Form 15G. Should it be filled with the old date or the current date? Should I mention my current salary income or not? Should I attach proof of my investments or savings?

Currently, the company I am working for does not deduct any PF, and my salary is slightly higher than my previous company. I have been working in Rajasthan for a company for the past 5 months.

When I resigned from JSW during my notice period and applied for PF withdrawal, I also submitted an affidavit explaining why I am withdrawing the amount. Additionally, I declared that I will not join any company for two months as I am going back home and will not be seeking employment.

Thanks and Regards,
AMIT
