Hi Everybody,

I have recently joined a manufacturing organization as an HR professional. I am new to this field. Can anybody help me out on how to design HR policies for my organization and what is the standard leave policy practiced in a manufacturing organization for staff, workers, and consultants as per the Act? It would be really helpful if somebody could guide me on the same.

Dear Rajarshee,

When designing policies for your organization, you need to divide policies into two categories: statutory policies and HR policies. For the former, it is better to hire a local consultant. For the latter, you may avail of my services. The list of policies that I can help you design is provided in the attachment.
