Motivating employees is a very important task for HR these days. You can take certain initiatives like organizing indoor tournaments (Chess, Carrom, Scrabble, etc.). This would help them think beyond their work. Carom doubles can be a team-building activity, while Chess can lead them to think strategically.
You could start some team-building activities every Saturday or so. It would be beneficial to arrange internal trainings on HR topics like communication skills, presentation skills, etc., which could be covered by the HR lead in your company. These activities are not very time-consuming and can be planned easily.
I am sure that other members will share additional ideas that I may have missed out on.
