As you are all aware and would be working on the newly enacted law - Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013 and its Rules, kindly suggest:

1. Do you have any format for the Annual Report, or are you simply going to put numbers or remarks against each point to be mentioned therein?

2. In relation to the submission of the Annual Report with District Officers ("District Magistrate or Additional Magistrate or the Collector or the Deputy Collector as a District Officer for every district to exercise powers or discharge functions under this Act"), do you have any clarity if any such name/designation for each zone has been specifically notified further? (Right now, I am looking for such authority in relation to Chennai).

3. As the Act and Rules were notified w.e.f. 9th Dec 2013, I think we need to prepare and file the Annual Report for 2013 as well and follow other related provisions. If any of you have any further clarification on this point, kindly share that.

4. Is there any due date by when this report needs to be submitted with the Employer and District Officer?

Dear Sir,

As of now, there is no clarity on the points raised by you. The Government has not yet issued any circular/notification giving the time for filing the Annual report under the law, the authority to whom this has to be submitted, etc. Hopefully, the same should be notified soon.
